Joanna Potterfield

Joanna Potterfield joined The Urology Group in February 2024. Joanna received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, WV in 2017. She then went on to graduate with honors from Chamberlain University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in Chicago, IL with her Master’s degree in Nursing in 2021. As a nurse, Joanna worked in both the inpatient and outpatient setting with an interest and focus in surgical oncology, chemotherapy, and post-op surgical care. In her career as a nurse practitioner, she worked as a hospitalist in the inpatient setting providing care for post-surgical and urologic patients. This led to her interest to specialize in Urology.
In her free time, Joanna enjoys spending time with family and friends, or reading a good book. She currently resides in Lovettsville, VA with her husband and growing family.
