V.S q 4 H x 24H, then Routine
I & o Q SHIFT
IV of D5LR at ______ cc/hr. In AM, switch to D5 1/2 NS w/20 meq KCL/
at ______cc/hr
Incentive Spirometer q 1 H while awake
Venodynes x 24 hrs, then calf exercises 10-15 x hr
Foley catheter to gravity
May remove dressing on postop day #2 in AM
PCA per anesthesia
Activity as tolerated
NPO except meds
Tylenol 650 mg p.o. q 3 H p.r.n.
Once taking p.o. B may take meds same as at home
Restoril 15 mg p.o. q h.s. p.r.n.
